Miss Fitzpatrick, who began working for Comstock Co. and its predecessor companies in 1919, was known in advertising and publishing circles in New York, Chicago, Detroit and Los Angeles. "Few persons knew her last name," an associate said, "Everyone called her Patsy. And everyone loved her. She was adept at recognizing voices over the Educated Buffalo schools.

Edward P. McNamara Funeral services for Edward P. McNamara, 79, a former member of the Buffalo Police Department for 33 years, will be held Thursday morning. A Solemn Requiem Mass will be sung at 9 in Holy Family Church. Mr.

McNamara, a Buffalo policeman from July 16, 1910, to Jan. 31, 1943, died Friday (Jan. 11, 1963) in Ft. Meade, where he spent each winter. For the last several years he lived with a son at 19 Susan Lane.

Farr John R. Farr, 60, of Sheridan Town of Tonawanda, district sales manager of the Reading Anthracite died Monday (Jan. 14, 1963). Mr. Farr, who had resided in the Buffalo area about 15 years, was la native of Mahanoy City, Pa.

15 (AP) Emanuel Levi, 72, former president of the Southern Newspaper Publishers Association, died today. Levi was a former vice president and general manager of Louisville and the Courier-Journal but left them in 1936 to become publisher of the Chicago Herald Examiner. 15 Dr. Alexander Geiger, 62, a leading researcher in brain function and chemistry, died Monday in the University of Illinois Hospital during experimental heart surgery. He was a professor of neuro-physiology in the depart-: ment of psvchiatry at the University of Illnois College of Medicine. Dr. Geiger approved the open heart surgery after studying his case with heart specialists.

Burial will be at 3 in Sardinia Cemetery. Mrs. Pollitt, the former Gertrude Parker, died Sunday (Jan. 13, 1963) in Kenmore Mercy Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was the widow of John S.

Pollitt. He died in 1941. Throughout her life she exemplified the spirit of motherliness. She was the mother of Mrs. Frederick C.

Loudy, 605 Niagara who survives. She also was foster mother to about 20 children, whom she obtained from social agencies throughout the years. Two girls remained a member of Mrs. Pollitt's family from the time they were 3 or 4 years, until they were married. At 67 age, she sought further 'interest in the world about her, became employed as a homemaker for the Family Service Society, a position she occupied for about three years.

Mrs. Pollitt was born Eldred, March 4, 1889. Surviving, too, are a brother, Jay L. Parker Detroit, and a sister, Mrs. Roy B.

Charles, Erie; also two grandchildren. James L. Wickstead: Services will be held tomorrow at 2 Johnson Wilkins Co. "Funeral Home, 448 Delaware for James L. Wickstead, 76, of 703 W.

Ferry St. Mr. Wickstead, who retired in 1953 after a 36-year career with Spencer Kellogg Sons, died day (Jan. 14, 1963) in the Georgian Court Nursing Home. He joined Spencer Kellogg in 1917 as an auditor, became treasurer in 1927 and a director in 1929.

His wife, the former Pearl Block, survives. Burial will be in Forest Lawn..
