Why does Google say I didn't provide enough information? ›

Why you were blocked from signing in. You may be blocked from signing in to your Google Account if: The service you're signing in from doesn't provide enough information to prove it's you. You're signing in from a new location or device.

If Google keeps signing you out, here are some steps you can try: Make sure cookies are turned on. Some antivirus or related software may delete your cookies. If your cookies are turned on, clear your browser's cache.

If Google says they don't have enough information to verify your identity, gather any relevant account details, such as previous passwords, security questions, creation date, devices or locations used to access the account, and connected Google services or apps.

Next, if users see the notification "Sign in to Google to save your progress", then the form is allowing users to Autosave response progress before submission. To prevent users from saving their progress (for up to 30 days), you need to: Open the form in Google Forms. At the top of the form, click Settings.

That could mean you forgot your password, you changed your Google password on one device and forgot to reenter it on another device, or any other number of credential snafus. The second scenario is when a user's Google account is disabled due to suspected hacking.

To turn off sign in prompts in your Google account, go to your Google Account security page and sign in to your account. Once you're signed in, on the Security page under the "Signing in to Other Sites" section turn off the "Google Account sign-in prompts" option.

Open your Google Account. In the "Security" section, select 2-Step Verification. You might need to sign in. Select Turn off.

All genuine security alerts from Google are listed on the Security page of your Google Account. To review your alerts, under “Recent security activity,” tap Review security activity. If you received a message claiming to be a security alert from Google that is not there, that message was not sent by Google.
